There are 4 bats - named as A , B , C and D in a group.there are 3 balls - a red , a white and a yellow coloured in a another group.If one has to go in the around with one bat and one then ballhow many kinds of pairs of a bat and a ball are possible ?

There are 4 bats and 3 Balls.
 
So, the pairs formed by selecting 1 bat and 1 ball out of the given sets of bats and balls is as follows:
 
ARed, AWhite, AYellow
BRed, BWhite, BYellow
CRed, CWhite, CYellow
DRed, DWhite, DYellow
