The volume of a given mass of a gas at 27℃ is 100 cc .To what temperature should it be heated at the same pressure so that it will occupy a volume of 150 cc ?                                  Ans [177℃]

V1 = 100 cc
 
T2 =?
 
V2 = 150 cc
 
By using Charles's law;
 
 
straight V subscript 1 over straight T subscript 1 equals straight V subscript 2 over straight T subscript 2

100 over 27 space equals space 150 over straight T subscript 2

straight T subscript 2 space equals space fraction numerator 150 cross times 27 over denominator 100 end fraction
