The volume of a cylinder is 350 cm3 and its height is 14 cm. Find the curved surface area.

Volume of cylinder = 350 cm2

Height (h) = 14 cm

Volume of cylinder = r2h

350 = r2 14

r =

r = 5 cm

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2rh

= 440 cm2
