The shadow of a vertical tower on a level ground increasesby 10m when the altitude of the sun changes from 45 degree to 30 degree. Find the height of tne tower, correct to two decimal places.

As shown in figure, when the altitude of sun is 45°, shadow length AC is equal to tower height AB, because tan45 = 1.
when altitude of sun is 30º, shadow length is AD = (h+10) m.
Hence we have,
solving the above equation for h, we get h = 13.66 m
