The ratio of the number of male and female workers in a textile mill is 5:3. if there 115 male workers , what is the number of female workers in mill ?

Expert Answer
Assume 'male workers as 5x and female workers as 3x.
Number of male workers = 5x = 115
So, x = 115/5 = 23.
No. of female workers = 3x = 3(23) = 69.
