frequency of UV and IR rays are not fixed, it has a range. Frequency of UV varies from 3×1017 Hz to 7×1016Hz. Frequency of IR varies from 5×1015 Hz to 1011 Hz. In order to get ratio let us take the middle values 1016 Hz and 1013 Hz for UV and IR respectively. then the ratio of frequency of UV and IR rays is1000.
