Answer:
v=√(2gR)=√(2GM/R)=L/√R.......(1)
after R is reduced by 4%:new escape velocioty:v'=√(2GM/(94R/100))=10L/√(94R).........(2)
so increase in escape velocity=v'-v=10L/√(94R)-L/√R
so % increase in esc vel=(v'-v)/vx100=7% after calculating
