The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the chandeliers -10 metres in diameter, 15 meter in height and weighing tweleve tonnes. The height of outer domes of mosque is 85 meter and the inner diameter is 32.2 meter. Find the the inner surface area of the dom, volueme of the air inside the dome, What is the cost of painting the inner area of the dome at the rate of Dh.15 per square meter? If the thickness of the dome is 50cm what is the outer CSA, Find the volueme of concrete used to make the dome., If the cylinder part of the minaret is of the height 25m with diameter 10m. what is the cost of tiling it if rate of tiling is Dhs.200/m^2

Dome ( 1 dome)
Height of domes = 85 m
inner diameter = 32.2 m
inner radius = 16.1 m
domes are shaped like semicircles
inner CSA=2∏r2
volume = 2/3∏r3
Cost of painting from inside = 15× inner CSA
 
if thickness is 50 cm
now radius (R) = 16.1+0.5 = 16.6 m
Outer CSA = 2∏R2
Volume of concrete required = 2/3∏R3 - 2/3∏r3
 
Note: multiply the above answers by 82 to get total of 82 domes
 
Column (1 column)
height 25m
diameter 10m. so radius = 5m
CSA = 2∏r2h
Cost of tiling = 200× CSA
 
Note: multiply the above answers by 100 to get total of 100 columns
