The length of metal rod is 150 cm at 25℃.Find it's length when it is heated to 150℃.(alpha steel=2.2 ×10^-5/℃)

Length L = Lo(1+α ΔT)
 
Lo = length at 25 ºC =150 cm ,
α = liner expansion coefficient = 2.2 × 10-5 / ºC ;
ΔT = ( 150 - 25 ) = 125 ºC
L = 150×(1+2.2 × 10-5 × 125) = 150×1.00275 = 150.4125 cm
