answered-by-expert Expert Answer
Load = 36 kgf
Load arm = 2 cm
Effort = ?
Effort arm =18 cm

Load x load arm = Effort x Effort arm
36 kgf x 2 cm = Effort x 18 cm

E f f o r t space equals space fraction numerator 36 space cross times space 2 over denominator 18 end fraction
Effort = 4 kgf

Thus, to crack the nut the force of 4kgf must be applied at the end of the handle.
