Expert Answer
- The annual mean temperature is calculated by adding the mean monthly temperatures of all the twelve months and dividing the total by 12
OR
By adding the maximum and minimum temperatures of the year and diving it by 2.
Hence, Annual mean temperature= Max temp +min temp/2
= 27+18=45/2
= 22.50C
- Annual range of temperature is the difference between the maximum monthly temperature and the minimum monthly temperature.
Hence, annual range of temperature= Max temp - min temp
= 27-18
= 90C
