The doubt is about a question I saw during one of the online tests. The IUPAC name of the given compound was asked, and the correct answer is given as 5-Propyl-2-methylhepta-2,4-dien-1-ol. But then shouldn't it be 2-methyl-5-ethylocta-2,4-dien-1-ol,because the chain containing C3H7 is longer than the one with ethyl group?
