The count of bacteria in a culture grows by 10% during first hour, decreases by 8% during second hour and again increases by 12% during third hour. If the count of bacteria in the sample is 13125000, what will be the count of bacteria after 3 hours ?

According to teh question,
r1 = rate of interest for the first hour = 10%, r2 = rate of interest for the second year = -8%, r3 = rate of interest for the third hour = 12%
The count of bacteria in the sample is 13125000.
The count of bacteria after 3 hours = 1312500 × (1 + 10/100)(1 - 8/100)(1+12/100)
= 1312500 × 1.1 × 0.92 × 1.12
= 1487640
