1.0 M HCl: 1 M H+ ions concentration
pH 4 solution:
- log (H+ ) = 4
H+ = 1 X 10-4 M
Pure water: 1 X 10-7 M H+ ion concentration.
1.0 M NaOH: It is a basic solution so it will have less H+ ion concentration.
So, option (A) will show the maximum potential as it has highest H+ ion concentration.
