The chromosome number is halved during in which phase during meiosis?is it metaphase 2 or anaphase 1.

 

My answer is metaphase 2 but correct answer is anaphase 1.Because at anaphase 1 it is 2n but in metaphase 2 it is n.....please give fast reply....he
