Let a be the length of each side of the square.

begin mathsize 12px style straight a squared equals 2025 straight a equals 45 space straight m end style

Hence the length of the diagonal is given by

begin mathsize 12px style square root of 2 space straight a equals square root of 2 space cross times 45 equals 63.63 space straight m end style
