The area of a square is 16 centimetre square find its side when the area is increased to 25cm.sq.

The area of a square was 16 cm2
Now, it is increased to 25 cm2
So, the area of square = 25 cm2
We know that area of a square = (side)2
(Side)2=25 cm2 = (5 cm)2
Hence, side of the square is 5 cm.
