The algebraic expression of an AP is 5n+2, which means nth term of an AP is given by the expression 5n+2
an or tn = a + (n-1)d = 5n+2
t1 = 5(1) + 2 = 7
t2 = 5(2) + 2 = 12
Common difference (d) = t2 - t1 = 12 - 7 = 5
Hence, the first term and common difference are 7 and 5.
