The age of man is half that of father's age and one-third of grand father's age.If the sum of their ages is 150,what is the man's present age?

Let x years be the age of man. Hence fathers age is 2x years and grandfather's age is 3x years.
Sum of their ages = x+2x+3x = 6x = 150......(1)
hence we get x = 25
 
age of man = 25 years ; age of father = 50 years; age of grandfather = 75 years
