The age of Bed(y) is 2 years more than 5 times the age of his son Verdant (x).Form the linear equation and draw the graph.

required linear equation is y = 5x+2 ...................(1)
we can not draw the graph because the above relation is valid in a particular year and not for other years.
Graph of function f(x) is drawn against independent variable x, only if function is valid for any x.
In the above equation is valid for y only a particular year when x has particular value. Hence graph for equation (1) can not be drawn
