No it is not necessary. But you can use it as a reference book, where you can different types of questions for a certain topic. But since you donot have much time, so you donot have to worry about it. For the time being before the exam, solve as many maths sample papers as you can keeping in track the time required for each papers. Also check the solutions of sample papers in case you could not answer a particular answer from the sample papers.
