(51) total kinetic energy after collision
initial kinetic energy = (1/2)×2×12×12 = 144 J . ( other object is at rest)
Total kineteic energy after collision is 144 J , because collision is elastic
(52)momentum of object-x after collision
initial momentum = 2×12 = 24 kg-m/s (object x is at rest)
after collision, momentum of 2-kg object = 2×4 = 8 kg-m/s
hence after collision, momentum of X-object = 24 - 8 = 16 kg-m/s
