Let units of velocity, time and Force are V, T and F respectively.
 
mass = Force / acceleration .................(1)
 
acceleration = (change in velocity) / time ...............(2)
 
from eqn.(2), unit of acceleration is V / T
 
hence unit of mass using eqn.(1) begin mathsize 12px style equals space fraction numerator F over denominator begin display style bevelled V over T end style end fraction space equals space fraction numerator F space cross times T over denominator V end fraction end style
