Effects of heat on Matter-
1. Liquid expands when it is heated so the volume of liquid increases due to increase in heat.
2. The atoms or molecules in a solid vibrate at all temperature, As the temperature increases they vibrate more vigorously and expands.
3. When the gas is heated, the molecules become more energetic, move faster and are further apart.
