- By passing a bill which has been opposed by the government or are against their wishes
- By a direct vote of No-Confidence in the Council of Ministers
- By rejecting a government bill or by passing a bill which has been backed by the Opposition
- By voting a cut in the budget
- By reducing the salaries of ministers
- By passing an adjournment motion when required
