State one appropriate observation for each of the following: (i) Concentrated sulphuric acid is added drop wise to a crystal of hydrated copper sulphate. (ii) Concentrated sulphuric acid  on treatment with noble metals like gold and platinum.

(i)Blue colored hydrated copper sulphate becomes white anhydrous copper sulphate. Its water of crystallization is removed.

    (ii) Noble metals like gold and platinum do not react with H2SO4 under any condition.

 we know water is a non electrolyte since it requires h2so4 to ionize to positively harged hydronium ions and sulphate ions then what property of water makes itself ionize to h+ and oh- ions along with the ionization of the dissolved salts ??  is it so if then why??
