State law of conservation of energy ? Show that the energy of a free falling object is conserved

Expert Answer
Conservation of energy state that energy can niether be created nor be destroyed, but it can only be get converted from one form to another form.
When an object is placed at some height from earth surface then due to it's position with respect to earth that object posses some potential energy, so initially when the ball have only potential energy. When we drop the ball it's velocity start increasing due to gravity when it hits the ground the object only has kinetic energy, so here we can see potential energy of the falling object get converted into kinetic energy. This is the conservation of energy.
