Figure shows that light ray is entering normally at face AB of prism, incident at face AC with angle of incidence 60°
and total internal reflection takes place at the glass-liquid boundary.
 
If μl and μg are refractive indices of glass and liquid respectively,  for total internal reflection we have, 
 
1/sin60 = μg / μl    or   2/√3 = (3/2) / μl   or   μ= (3√3)/4
