Answer:
Acceleration a(t) is function of time. Let a(t) = m×t+c ; where m and c are constants
 
at t=0 s, a=2 m/s2 ; this gives c =2; hence now a(t) = m×t+2 ;
at t = 4 s, a =0 m/s2; hence 0 = m×4+2 ; hence m = -(1/2)
