2log3 x + log3 (x2 - 3) = log3 0.5 + 
log3 x2 + log3 (x2 - 3) = log3 0.5 + log3 8 aloga x = x
log3 x2(x2 - 3) = log3 4
x2(x2 - 3) = 4
Solving it further we get
x = √3 or 1
As x ≠ 1 hence x = √3
