Then why is gropu 16 elements: O<S<Se<Te [why is Po excluded]?
Same happense in group 17 [At is excluded] 
 
Please explain why.

Answer:

The first four elements of group 16 i.e. Oxygen, sulphur, selenium and tellurium are non-metals.

Polonium is the last member of the group 16 and is metallic in nature.It is also radioactive and is only short-lived.

Same goes with Astatine of group 17.
