Sir why we take time taken by molecule after two successive collisions in the derivation of pressure exerted by gas molecule on the walls of container.why not we take one collision?

Answer:
The molecule makes a collision with the wall after which it travels to the opposite wall and comes back to the initial wall (travels 2xLength of the container). Change of momentum of the wall occurs during this time till the next collision takes place. (going and coming back of molecule).
