sir when magnet suspended freely north pole of magnet shows which geomtric pole of earth and which magnetic pole of earth? in text books i saw magnetic north pole of earth is near to geometrical north of earth. i have a doubt regrding this please explain sir

when magnet suspended freely north pole of magnet points towards the geometric north pole of earth.
The magnetic north pole of freely suspended magnet will point towards south pole of earth magnet because opposite poles attract each other
