sir, what is bio mass ? and how it works?

Bio mass is the biodegradable waste like human and animals wastes, rotting plants and vegetables, etc. which is stacked in piles and are made to rot.
These are then made into a slurry, which is then put into septic tanks where they ferment releasing bio-gas a mixture of methane and butane.
this gas is used as a fuel in many cases, both domestic and industrial
