Figure shows the forces acting on the mass at P and also the resolved components.
From the given dimensions of AB, AP and BP, radius of circular path of the mass can be evaluated as (√3/2)×l .
AP and BP are making an angle 30° with the horizontal plane of circular motion of mass.
The resolved horizontal components of tension in the string acts as centripetal force. Hence we have
 
T1cos30 + T2cos30 = m×ω2(√3/2)×l
 
since cos30 = (√3/2), we have T1 + T2 = m×ω2×l
