position for nth bright fringe :-   d × sinθ = nλ
position for nth dark fringe :-   d × sinθ = [ n - (1/2) ]λ

for 10th bright fringe in liquid :  d × sinθ = 10λ/μ ....................(1)
where μ is the refractive index of liquid

for 6th dark fringe in vacuum :  d × sinθ = [6-(1/2)]λ ....................(2)
where μ is the refractive index of liquid

Equating (1) and (2), we get,  μ = 10/5.5 = 1.82
