Bernoullis theorem is like the application of 'Law of conservation of energy' for fluids.
It basically reflects the fact that the sum of all the energies like pressure energy,
kinetic energy per volume and potential energy per volume is equal at the inlet and an outlet of a fluid flow.
Mathematically it is expressed as,
begin mathsize 12px style straight P subscript 1 plus 1 half ρv subscript 1 squared plus ρgh subscript 1 equals straight P subscript 2 plus 1 half ρv subscript 2 squared plus ρgh subscript 2 end style

Where P1 & 2  are pressure energies,
size 12px 1 over size 12px 2 size 12px ρv to the power of size 12px 2 is the kinetic energy per volume (density 'p' = mass / volume)
size 12px ρgh  is the potential energy per volume (density 'p' = mass / volume)
