The time taken by Satya to finish the race = (900 m) / (2 m/s) = 450 s

The time taken by Albert to finish the race be t, then

s = ut + at2/2

900 = t + t2/450

900x450 = 450t + t2

 t+ 450t - 900x450 =  0

t = [-450 ± (4502 + 4x450x900)]/2

t = [-450 ± (4502 + 4x450x900)]/2 

t = 450 s.

Both will finish the race simultaneously.
