Values of SHGs

Team work- Self Help Group (SHG) is a group of about 15-20 members who pool their savings together.

Self sufficiency lead to eradication of poverty- After two years of regular savings, the SHG can also take a loan from the bank. Loan is given on the name of the group and creates tremendous opportunities for self-employment of the members.

Women Empowerment- Many women as the members of SHGs have become economically independent.
