Activity 8.1 and 8.2 as given in NCERT science textbook, page 129; represents reproduction in yeast and molud respectively.

Reproduction in Yeast (activity 8.1): Yeast reproduces asexually by the process of budding. In this process a small outgrowth in the form of a bud grows on the parent cell. The nucleus of the parent cell divides and one copy of the nucleus moves into the bud. The bud grows and enlarges on the parent cell and then detaches from the parent cell and grows as a new individual.

Reproduction in Molud (activity 8.2): Mould is fungus and and grows in the form of hyphae. Moulds reproduce asexually by the process of spore formation. The reproductive structures on the hyphae are called sporangia, which produce many spores. At matuarity the sporangia bursts open and the spores are released. When the spores land on a surface which provides the necessary nutrients and favourable conditions for growth the spores give rise to new individuals.
