respected sir/mam,
please explain the difference between electric potential and potential difference.please elaborate the answer becuase i have little confusion regarding this topic.

Electric potential is that condition which determines the direction of flow of charge from one point to another. It is measured as the work done in bringing a unit positive charge from infinity to a point against the electric force.The electric potential at a point is potential energy per unit charge.

Potential difference is the amount of work done in taking a unit positive charge from one point to another point, that is between two points in an electric field.
