Resistance of a metal wire of length 1m is 26 at C. If the diameter of the wire is 0.3 mm, what will be the resistivity of the metal at that temperature?

Resistance of a material is given by
R = ρ×(l/A)
Where
R is the resistance
ρ is the resistivity of the material
l is the length of the wire
A is the cross section area
So ρ = (R×A)/l
A = πr^2 = π×0.15×0.15 × 10^-6 = 225π × 10^-12
Putting all the value we get
Resistivity = 14.137 × 10^-9 Ωm
