Solution for your first query,
Reason: More electropositive element displaces less electropositive element from its salt solution. Hence, iron goes into solution and displaces copper from its salt solution. This is called displacement reaction.
Fe(s) + CuSO4(aq) -> Cu(s) + FeSO4(aq)
