Answer:
For equilibrium, torque acting on the sphere due to gravitational force should balance the torque acting on the current carrying coil wound on sphere.
 
Torque acting on the sphere due to gravitational force = m×gsinθ×r ...................(1)
torque acting on the current carrying coil wound on sphere = Bcosθ×i×(π×r2 ) .............(2)
 
By equating (1) and (2), we get begin mathsize 12px style B space equals space fraction numerator m g tan theta over denominator pi r i end fraction end style
