Deare Student

x^2+ax+b=0

Roots of the above quadratic equation  x1, x2= [-a +/-  (a2-4b)  ] / 2=  -a/2  +/-  [ (a2-4b)]/2

==>  x1+x2= -a and it is given that |x1|=|x2|=1  ==>  |x1|+|x2|=2  ==> a 2

y^2+|a|y+b=0 in case of this equation !a! 2.
