For 1st AP:
First term = 3
Common difference = d
 
For 1st AP:
First term = 8
Common difference = d
 
We know nth term of an AP is given by:
an = a + (n - 1)d
 
Thus, required difference
= 8 + (10 -1) d - 3 - (10 - 1)d
= 5
