We Know that 
ΔTf = iKf
Here i = 2 ions, Kf = 1.86, Tf = -1.24
putting these values in above equation we get, 1.24 = {w/M/0.1} * 1.86 * 2
 
or, M = 2 *{4/1.24*0.1} * 1.86 = 120g thus the molar mass of salt =120g
 
the mass of X = 120-39 = 81 so, wrt to the data given above X is Br. (c)
