Induced current is due to induced emf that occurs due to the movement of conductor in magnetic field. The induced emf directly proportional to the change of magnetic flux due to the movement of conductor and is independent of length of conductor. change in shape of the conductor is not going to make any change in the resistance. Considering all these, it can be concluded that the induced current remains same if the conductor shape is changed into semi circle.
