Q- if we connect the positive terminal to the positive terminal of wire in potentiometer then we found a one sided deflection in galvanometer . WHY   PLEASE ANSWER EARLY

What does it mean :- " positive terminal of wire in potentiometer ". How the galvanometer is connected.
