Answer:
induced emf, e = v×B×l, where v is velocity of falling rod, B is magnetic field and l is the length of rod
e = 50×3×10-5×2 = 3 mV
In the figure, it is illustrated how induced current will flow in the rod using left hand's rule. since current is flowing towards east in the rod, The end point A which is pointing east direction gets positive potential
